With PGA Championship week underway, we dive into it all with everything from our picks to the excitement surrounding the return of PGA professionals competing in the event. We make our picks for Top 20 and to win as well as a handful of other fun bets for the week.
We also reflect on Michael Block’s Cinderella story from last year and whether he can make the cut again. While we admire how he capitalized on his fame—appearing in ads and viral content—we’re skeptical he’ll repeat the magic.
The conversation touches on what makes the PGA Championship special: it's one of the few events where teaching pros get a real shot. Bud draws a sports comparison, noting that while amateurs have no chance against elite NBA players, in golf, anyone might win a hole or two—even against tour pros.
